THE 40' DuAl Expando Mobile Production Truck

High Rock 1, a Super Stallion Dual Stage Expansion Class mobile production vehicle, is our company's solution for bringing your event from the confines of its venue to the world. Regardless of the nature of the event, whether it be sporting, news, corporate, or musical, High Rock 1 can deliver, combining its small on-site footprint with the most advanced and powerful technology to make every project an ease. High Rock 1 is equipped with a Grass Valley KFrame Switcher, Sony HDC 3500, HDC 1700L and HDC 4300 Super SloMo Cameras, EVS Via Servers, Calrec Artemis Audio Console, Chyron and Ross XPression graphic platforms, and much more.

Jim Carr

President

With over 35 years of experience in television production, six Emmy awards, and sixteen Olympic Games with NBC & CBS under his belt, Jim is an invaluable asset to the High Rock Mobile Team. When building High Rock 1, Jim incorporated his vast experience and technical knowledge into the design of the truck, having a unique understanding of the demands and challenges arising in any television broadcast, large or small.

Melissa Ives

Finance, Human Resource & Safety Coordinator 

Melissa has over nineteen years experience working in the broadcast sports and entertainment industry. She serves as our Financial Controller, Safety Officer and handles all Human Resource matters. With a passion for volunteering and helping others, she is constantly organizing company-wide activities to help support our local community. Melissa lives in Glens Falls, New York with her husband Bob and their son’s, Cooper & Brady. While she may wear many hats during working hours, her favorite job title is that of Mom. She spends most of her free time on the road, in the minivan she swore she would never own (and love), driving her very active boys to their many games and practices.

Jeff Leonard

EIC

Jeff has been in the Broadcast industry for 25 years. Starting out as a utility as a teenager and quickly moving up to Broadcast Engineer putting his schooling to good use. He has been apart of and kept up with the ever changing technology associated with broadcasts including remote broadcasting and post- pandemic necessities in the industry. During his career he has been selected to work at broadcasts on five continents and most of the fifty states. Jeff has been the senior engineer at the MLB All-Star game, the Daytona 500, Stanley Cup Playoffs and network 'A' level NFL football including a Super- Bowl halftime show. He is also the recipient of a Technical Emmy Award.

Andrew Johnson

Driver/E2

Andrew joined the High Rock Mobile team in 2018 as our Mobile Unit Engineering Assistant & Driver. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather and mother he is a third generation broadcast professional and came to us with over two decades of experience in the sports, national news and entertainment industry. After spending most of his career living on the West Coast, he loves being able to work a little closer to his hometown of Glens Falls, New York. When not on the road, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family and his two spoiled dogs Aoife & Ruby.
